Emergency and Critical Care When Your Pet Needs It Most
Emergencies are just that, unplanned illnesses or injuries that happen when you least expect them. Although no one plans for an emergency situation involving his or her pet, you should have a plan for how you would handle the situation if one does occur.
Cleveland Park East Animal Hospital in Simpsonville is here to help in moments of crisis. If your pet is experiencing a life threatening illness or injury we ask that you call ahead to let our staff know what the emergency situation is and your estimated time of arrival.
With this information our staff can advise you of the best method to safely transport your pet and they can make preparations for your arrival.
Our regular hours are:
- Monday through Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Sunday: Closed
Veterinary Critical Care
Once the emergency crisis is stabilized, your pet may still need extra special care and observation. That is where our critical care team comes to the rescue. While in critical care your pet will receive constant monitoring by highly trained staff with immediate access to a veterinarian at all times. While in critical care, your veterinarian will update you on your pets’ condition by phone at least twice daily, and immediately if there is a change in his or her condition.
We understand that an emergency illness or injury to your pet is a stressful, scary time for you and your family. Our staff will make every effort to keep you well informed on your pet’s condition and we will treat you, your pet, and your family with dignity and respect at all times.
Please contact us if you have any emergencies, or have questions.
